Duos Catering: A Note on What’s Next

After many years of serving our clients through Duos Catering, we’ve made the intentional decision to close the catering arm of our business.

Duos Catering has been an important chapter for us. Through it, we’ve had the privilege of creating thousands of meals for weddings, corporate events, celebrations, and large-scale gatherings throughout Seattle and the Pacific Northwest. That work shaped how we think about hospitality, quality, logistics, and what it truly takes to deliver meaningful food experiences at scale.

As our company has evolved, so has our clarity.

We are choosing to focus our energy on areas where we can create the greatest long-term impact: building strong, enduring food and retail brands, and contributing to destination-driven hospitality experiences that are sustainable, thoughtful, and deeply connected.

One of those places is Seabrook, Washington.

Seabrook is a coastal community on the Washington coast, designed around walkability, architecture, and shared gathering spaces. It has become a sought-after destination for vacations, corporate retreats, weddings, and full-time living, with a growing demand for elevated food, beverage, and hospitality programming that matches the quality of the community itself.

Our previous work in Seabrook has informed much of our future direction.

Moving forward, our efforts will be centered on:

  • Brother Joe, our café and food brand, which will continue operating in Georgetown while expanding its hours, offerings, and future locations.

  • Mr. Walrus, our retail and lifestyle brand based in Seabrook. We plan to grow Mr. Walrus beyond Seabrook into more populated markets while maintaining its coastal roots.

  • Resort food and beverage development, partnering with Seabrook to help elevate its hospitality offerings and support its vision as a top-tier destination.

Our experience operating Duos Catering is foundational to this next phase. The years spent managing high-volume events, seasonal demand, staffing, and complex food logistics now inform how we approach larger hospitality systems, guest experiences, design, and a long-term food and beverage strategy.

While Duos Catering will no longer be accepting new catering engagements, our work in hospitality continues!

We’re deeply grateful to every client, partner, and team member who trusted us with their events over the years. Your support made this evolution possible.

Thank you for being part of our story, and for joining us as we move into what’s next.
